LX Semicon strives to minimize quality issues by rapidly responding to product defects and systematically managing traceability and failure analysis when issues arise in delivered products, thereby implementing fundamental improvements and preventative measures. To ensure prompt response to customer quality complaints, the company operates in-house analysis laboratories at domestic and overseas sites, which support immediate actions and strengthen the quality control system while enhancing product reliability. In addition, LX Semicon is actively working to improve customer satisfaction by deploying dedicated quality personnel to major regions including the U.S., China, and Japan, where they lead proactive responses tailored to local customer needs.
LX Semicon has established a standardized internal process for customer satisfaction surveys since 2011, conducting them annually to systematically assess satisfaction with its products and services. The survey questionnaire covers key areas such as communication and responsiveness, defect analysis, response to quality issues, component qualification PCN Audit, and local support, allowing for detailed analysis of customer feedback. The results of these surveys serve as essential input for enhancing the quality of products and services. LX Semicon uses this feedback to drive continuous improvement efforts, with the ultimate goal of achieving genuine customer satisfaction and delight.
LX Semicon is committed to strengthening quality by cultivating globally recognized quality professionals and reliability specialists through programs certified by the American Society for Quality (ASQ). These professionals are equipped to enhance product competitiveness by applying high-quality statistical quality control, advanced data analysis, and reliability testing methodologies. In addition, to embed automotive quality systems within the company, LX Semicon trains Functional Safety Experts as well as auditors for automotive quality processes and products. The company plans to further secure Functional Safety Experts to ensure the appropriateness of evaluation results at each development stage.
LX Semicon implements proactive quality risk management by leveraging its internal Quality Management System (QMS) and the Supplier Collaboration System (SCS). These systems are operated to systematically process and store all relevant data in a database, enabling real-time visibility into all activities occurring throughout the suppliers' mass production processes. This approach enhances both the transparency and efficiency of quality control. To further improve process and production quality, LX Semicon establishes annual quality indicators for outsourced production and conducts monthly quality review meetings with suppliers. Through these meetings, the company identifies Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) items and ensures the consistent enhancement of quality levels among its external partners.

Renewal of Quality Management System (ISO 9001) Certification
LX Semicon maintains its ISO 9001 certification to ensure continuous quality improvement, enhance customer satisfaction, and respond to international quality requirements. In pursuit of differentiated competitiveness, the company is transitioning to global-level quality management standards. As part of this effort, LX Semicon is expanding certifications by acquiring not only ISO 9001 but also IATF 16949, the quality management system for the automotive sector, in response to business expansion and the establishment of new facilities. This enables the company to meet the demands of global customers and build a more trustworthy quality management system.
LX Semicon applies rigorous verification standards for suppliers responsible for product manufacturing and shipment. This includes evaluation, approval, registration, and management of production processes to thoroughly assess supplier capabilities and ensure stable quality. For all manufactured products, the company enforces strict verification of characteristics and in-process quality controls to maintain high-quality standards at the shipment stage, thereby meeting customer requirements and continuously improving product reliability. Furthermore, to enhance the quality competitiveness of suppliers, LX Semicon trains VDA 6.3 auditors and conducts annual regular evaluations. These assessments are based on the ISO 19011 audit guidelines to operate an objective and systematic audit process, supporting suppliers in complying with global quality standards through continuous monitoring and improvement initiatives.
